Instructions for submission to final evaluation

Dear All,

as we were still reporting technical problems to some teams this week, the EUROC board of challenge hosts has decided to give teams more time to package their virtual machines.
The deadline to send us the checksum for the final virtual machine has been shifted to Wednesday, the 12th of November.

The procedure to submit your results is different in one topic to make it safe and convenient for you.

First you should send us the checksum of the virtual machine (not later than 12.11.2014, 5pm European Time)
Then you should upload the VM to the ftp server (not later than 17.11.2014, 5pm European Time)
Please make sure that the uploaded VM is unmodified with respect to the one the checksum was generated for else we can’t take it into account!

Please have the steps in mind to compile your submission – same as with the pre-evaluation.

1. Make sure your application autonomously starts and attempts to solve tasks, when the simclient VM is booted.
2. Export the simclient VM with virtualbox into an .ova file.
3. Create a md5 checksum of the .ova file
4. Upload the checksum via the web form http://www.euroc-project.eu/index.php?id=checksum
5. Upload the .ova file onto the evaluation FTP server ([url]euroc.laas.fr[/url])
using the login credentials already provided to you within a separate E-Mail.
6. Wait for the upload to complete.

After receiving your E-Mail and verifying your checksum we will notice you the successful submission (at the 17.11. latest).
The evaluation process ends at Nov. 30th. Then you will receive your final scores.
